What does completing the Cut a Rock Index give?
Official listing: powerful auras. Named auras and effects stay TBA on this wiki.
This Cut a Rock Index guide is the collection playbook for Place 113742027864370. First-time cuts show New material! and set a fraction such as 2/5. Official listing: complete the Index and unlock auras. Aura names stay TBA — this wiki does not invent them. Session recaps that say cores, immortal, or cosmic stay in a separate bucket from listing materials. Verified November 7, 2026 · Play on Roblox.

The Cut a Rock Index is a collection log, not a shop. A rock becomes an Index credit only after the Rock Cutter finishes and you collect. Duplicate Petalstone does not tick a second New material! — the toast is for first cuts. The HUD then shows a set fraction. Dated recaps use examples like 2/5: two unique materials in a five-slot set. Full set size per rarity is TBA.

| Signal | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| New material! | First time this material dropped | Open Index and mark the set |
| n/5 style fraction | Unique slots filled in that set | Farm the missing rarity, not extras |
| No toast | Duplicate of an already logged drop | Sell it; Cash is still useful |
| Index leaderboard | Compare collected count | Ignore ranks until Room 1 sets are done |
Open it from the Hub / Plot HUD cluster — the same side of the screen as Ticket and gift icons. F to Spawn if you lost the Plot. There is an Index leaderboard in dated recaps; it ranks collection count, not aura names. This page’s URL is **Index guide**. Do not treat the site homepage as the Index.
A Common Seashell or Rust Gear can be the missing 1/5 even when Uncommon pays more Cash. Early Index work is “have I cut this name once,” not “did this sell for $12K.” Keep one Pocket slot for junk you have not logged, then dump the rest on Uncommon tags. Names and dated sells: materials.
Official listing copy for Cut a Rock is short: complete the Index and unlock powerful auras. That is the only aura fact this wiki treats as verified. Aura names, visuals, stat lines, and whether you equip one aura or many are TBA. Do not copy a recap nickname into the table.
| Claim | Status | Use on this wiki |
|---|---|---|
| Complete Index unlocks auras | Official listing | Yes — write auras |
| Aura names and effects | TBA | Leave blank |
| Finish a rarity set → permanent cash multiplier | Session recap | Unverified — do not overwrite auras |
| Cores registered in Index | Session wording | Listing word is materials |
Public dumps do not ship a Duality Works aura roster. Chat and session recaps invent labels. Until a listing, in-game tooltip, or developer post names an aura, this Cut a Rock Index page will not. Completing sets is still worth doing — you just should not plan a build around a guessed aura.
Some beginner recaps say finishing every drop in a rarity grants a permanent Cash multiplier. That is useful if it is true, and it is still not the official reward text. Log it as Unverified. If live UI later shows both auras and a multiplier, we will split the row. Until then, hunt sets for the listing reward: auras.
Farm the rarity you are missing, not the prettiest mesh. Room 1 dated rates: Common 85%, Uncommon 15%, Nova Prism 0.1% (Unverified). Eyesight is how you stop wasting Pocket on duplicates. Power only matters when the next floor’s pool is the gap you cannot see in Room 1.
| Gap type | Where to farm | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Missing Common names | Room 1 leftover slots | 85% of rocks; cheap but unique |
| Missing Uncommon names | Room 1 Uncommon tags first | 15%; also funds Cutter 2 |
| Nova Prism | Any 0.1% tag in Room 1 | Always take; payout TBA |
| Deeper-floor names | After more Power / pickaxe | Floor formula TBA |
Nova Prism is rare and worth the Pocket slot, but it is not the whole Cut a Rock Index. Most early 2/5 boards fill from Common and Uncommon first cuts. Standing in Room 1 waiting only for 0.1% while four Common names are still blank is the slow path. Cut the Common, tick the toast, then go back to Uncommon Cash.
Higher Eyesight recaps show more about what an uncut rock might become. That is how you skip a duplicate Common when a missing Uncommon sits next to it. Dated buy: Eyesight 3 at $7K after Cutter 2 — upgrades. Deeper gaps wait on Power and the pickaxe ladder.
Session recaps call Cutter output cores. The official listing and this Index page call the same drops materials. Use the listing word so the New material! toast matches what you expect. Recaps also shout immortal, cosmic, eternal, and similar rarities on later floors. Those labels are Unverified and are not added as official Index rows here.
| Heard in recaps | Treat as | Index action |
|---|---|---|
| Cores | Unverified synonym | Log as materials |
| Immortal / cosmic / eternal | Unverified rarity labels | Do not invent Index slots |
| Witch’s honey, Thornheart, similar shouts | Unverified session names | Wait for a listing row |
| New index / new material | First-cut signal | Open the Index and check n/5 |
A late-game session can buy 0.1% rocks and shout a new Index hit. That proves the Index still ticks after Room 1. It does not authorize copying every shouted name onto this wiki. Official early materials stay on the materials page: Petalstone, Sakura Cascade, Sakura Spirit, Seashell, Rust Gear.
Treat Index work as a loop inside the normal mine → cut → sell cycle, not a separate mode. After collect, glance at the toast before you sprint to Sell. If nothing new dropped, sell and return. If New material! fired, open Index, note the fraction, then choose the next Pocket rule.

Level 1 Uncommon recaps at ~30 seconds. That is enough time to open Index, check the leaderboard, or stand on the Anvil. Standing still staring at the Cutter is the leak. After Cutter 2, Commons are near-instant, which is when leftover Index Commons become free ticks instead of chores. First-hour loop: beginner guide.
Scan this before you skip Commons or paste an aura tier list from another Roblox miner.
| Mistake | Fix |
|---|---|
| Calling this page the homepage | Use Index guide — path /index-guide |
| Inventing aura names | Official reward is auras; names TBA |
| Treating cores as a different drop | Listing word: materials |
| Skipping Common first cuts | Cheap rocks still fill 2/5 boards |
| Pocket full of duplicate Commons | Read rarity tags; keep one slot for gaps |
| Waiting only for Nova Prism | 0.1% is extra, not the whole Index |
| Buying Golden before Cutter 2 | Throughput first — upgrades |
| Copying Cut a Gem collections | Place 113742027864370 only |
| Trusting recap cash multipliers as official | Keep them Unverified |
| Ignoring New material! while selling | Check Index before the next Q |

No. Duplicates sell for Cash. Only first cuts tick New material!.
No. Recaps say cores. The listing and Index toast say materials. Same drops.
Not while Common names are still blank. Later, Uncommon tags pay upgrades faster — materials.
Not a verified one. Do not invent names. Official copy only says completing Index unlocks auras.
Machines keep cutting while you are away (official). Whether offline first cuts still toast New material! is TBA. Park a queue before you leave — Power.
